Greg Gearheart: CA Water Boards Data Innovation Challenge

The California Environmental Protection Agency is concluding a Data Innovation Challenge that they launched last month to encourage the creation of apps, visualizations, and other tools that use newly published datasets on the state open data portal (https://greengov.data.ca.gov/browse?category=Water). These data can help answer critical questions related to climate change, regulatory oversight, and water quality. Greg Gearheart, Deputy Director of the Office of Information Management and Analysis (http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/swamp/) for the CA Water Boards (http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/) will be joining us to discuss the agency's initiative.
