Why do we need Rails if we plan to use Sinatra?

I have installed ruby using rvm; sinatra, rack-test and rspec using gems.

the "Rails Installer" that's the easiest way to get up and running for beginners. But you're right, if you've got ruby installed, and bundler is working, there's no need to install rails.
