CodeAcross 2016

Details

CodeAcross is a weekend of civic problem-solving events hosted by chapters of the Code for America network around the world. Code for Denver will be hosting CodeAcross Denver to bring together diverse members of our community (no tech background required!) to learn together and think of new ways to impact our city through data and art.

The morning of CodeAcross Denver will focus on learning techniques for moving through a full design cycle including user empathy, ideation, design and prototyping. In the afternoon, attendees will be able to take an Intro to Code workshop or dive straight into the Open Data Art/Code Challenge. The goal of the challenge is for teams to create a prototype of an art or digital project using open data sets to shed light on issues in our community.

All are welcome and everyone can learn something from this event - you'll definitely have fun!
