This week Isaac starts a 4 weeks long course in programming robots.

The link to the program [in pdf]: Arduino robot programming

Message from Isaac

The course will start this sunday 15th June and last 4 weeks. Everybody is welcome to take part in the course, and at the end you will have a working robot and all the knowledge to build it and program it. The cost of the robot is 80 CHF and I still have some of them available for extra people joining at the last moment.
I attach a picture of the robot and the program (I have reduced the number of sessions from 5 to 4 to end before school holidays).
Let me know if somebody is interested in taking the course or helping me mentoring it :)

New coders are welcome to explore different coding programs and games.

Regulars are welcome to carry on with projects and programs that they started on, or try something different.

Remember: It is the children's Dojo; they decide what they want to do and learn and mentors are there to support them to have fun doing that.

We've also added robotics to our repertoire, so feel free to try that out, too!

The more advanced programmers will get together and carry on with programming a website for Coder Dojo Zurich.

Everyone, including the accompanying parents, should bring:

* A snack and drink

* A working laptop with a keyboard they can 'read' (i.e. the keys correspond to what appears on screen) and preferably a  mouse that they can operate.

Children 12 years and under should be accompanied by a parent or other enthusiastic adult (who is also encouraged to bring his or her laptop and play & program, too.)

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
