19. Coding Night [Free Raspberry Pi workshop]

Details

We've three different workshops, for every skill level. From beginner to pros/devs :).

In addition we've a small playground, in which you can try to launch a missile launcher (an USB based one of course^^).

Here are the raspberry workshops

  1. Workshop (Beginner): Setting up a AirPlay and AirPrint-Server

  2. Workshop (Intermediate): Playing round with a DVB-T antenna

  3. Workshop (Pros/Devs): Setting up a CI server which is connected to a traffic light (more info: https://blog.codecentric.de/en/2013/07/using-a-raspberry-pi-to-control-an-extreme-feedback-devices/ )

Playground:

Controlling a USB missile launcher via a Wii remote controller (more info: http://www.instructables.com/id/Hack-your-usb-missile-launcher-into-an-quotAuto-/ )

Playing around with the Sphero Robot Ball: controlling it via Bluetooth and code. Idea: Create a web interface with which you can control the ball or via the arrow keys of the keyboard.

Start / Doors open: 19:00h

Introducing the workshops: 19:30h

Begin of the workshops: 20:00h
