Now that Fall is here, it's time to reflect on how far you've come in meeting your 2009 business goals, and where your businesses are going in 2010. At Ten Key Business Solutions, we've made some significant changes including opening a training center on Keith Bridge Rd, expanding our outsourced bookkeeping program while continuing to serve our consulting clients.

I'm changing the dynamic of this group somewhat. Many of you have expressed an interest in learning more about QB, so rather than having free monthly coffee meetings, I would like to use this forum to keep you posted on changes in QuickBooks and announcements from Intuit, as well as educational opportunities at our training center. Please let me know if you would like to continue the monthly free meetings, and if so the topics that interest you most.

I am currently working on my "Master QuickBooks Consultant" certificate. This certificate is only available to less than 300 people in the country. My membership in the National Advisors Network gives me access to the greatest QuickBooks minds in the country as well as information and webinars that may not be accessible to others. One of these opportunities is the following webinar, which I have signed up for and will be showing at my office.

What's New in QuickBooks 2010?

I would like to invite you to join us for a FREE presentation describing the new features of QuickBooks 2010 edition. Intuit has made some fantastic additions to the software this year that make it well worth upgrading. The meeting will take place at our office on October 20, 2009 at 3:00pm. We will be watching a live on-line demonstration by Joe Woodard (he's the guy that trains all the Advanced ProAdvisors and sponsors the National Advisors Network). We will also have a Q&A session following the presentation.

We've launched a new series of training courses that may aid you in your QuickBooks endeavors. The new courses include:

1-Day Crash Course for beginners. Learn the basics of getting started with QuickBooks in your business.

QuickBooks Boot Camp - An in depth 10-week course will show you all the major components of QuickBooks. Small class sizes allow us to customize the class to the students' specific needs and apply the concepts to your particular business.

QuickBooks Certification Prep. Course - Experiencing the QB Certification as a small group adventure rather than on your own makes a big difference in what you learn from the course. Having been through this course every year since 1999, I am very familiar with the questions and concepts that are on the test.
