Hey everyone,

2014 was a great year for VR and also for this Meetup and we are sure 2015 will be even better! So it’s about time to meet up again to recall what has happened so far and also to have a peek at the glorious future ahead!

The next Meetup will take place on Saturday, February 21th at 6 pm. The event is as usual open for everyone interested in VR. Additionally to the usual Meetup we want to invite you to our third VR Developer Exchange, which will start at 3 pm at the same venue. The VR Developer Exchange is directed at (also soon-to-be) VR developers and VR professionals among yourselves. Here you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, demo your projects etc. before the actual Meetup begins.

We are always looking for interesting speakers that want to their projects and insights related to VR. Please contact us!

After the official part we will again have a long demo-session with socializing, networking, snacks and Kölsch!

The location is Startplatz, Im Mediapark 5, Cologne. The event is generally for free but we would suggest a small donation to cover our expenses.

It would be great if everyone who owns a rift and/or other VR equipment would bring it to the event for the demo session. In this case please arrive already at 6 pm or earlier so we can prepare everything.

The official part of the Meetup from 6 to 8 pm will be held in English. We have thought long this and came to the conclusion that we want to be as open as possible to our close neighbors in Netherland, Belgium, France and so on and also don’t want to exclude our many other visitors and online stream participants from all over the world.

The schedule of the evening will be as follows:

3 pm The developer exchange begins

5 pm Setup of hardware

6 pm Meetup kick-off and speeches

8-12 pm Demo and networking session
