BRAHMS / Violin Concerto
R. STRAUSS / Ein Heldenleben
Brahms’ Violin Concerto, long recognized as one of the pillars of the concerto repertoire, is incredibly rich in themes and demands sheer excellence from soloist and orchestra alike. Taking center stage is Augustin Hadelich, who returns for this highly-anticipated concert.
At its 1899 Frankfurt premiere, Richard Strauss’ symphonic poem Ein Heldenleben (A Hero’s Life) became a landmark for the power of the modern orchestra. With its programmatic nature, Ein Heldenleben delivers an epic audience experience.
Our seats are in the Mezz 3, 6-17 in row G and H. $39.00 plus paypal fees. $41.50 total.
Lets meet for dinner before the concert and a drink after. There is a pre concert talk at 6:30 PM and we need to meet at 5:00 PM to make the talk. Lets eat at Sam's #3. Please be on time or you may not get seated with the group. Food cost is very reasonable and the food is good. Sam's please note in comments if you are going to attend our dinner too so I can get a count.

Hi Katharine - I can meet you at the Sheridan park and ride off of 36 if you'd like to carpool from there. We can share parking costs :) Are you planning on dinner at Sams before hand? I would like to do that -
