Details
For those of you that know what the OBC Club is then you know where to go.
For the rest of us we will be camping near red mountain. (Still close to the OBCs)
We will be camping for the entire week and through the following weekend. Camping spaces will be limited inorder to keep our footprint at a minimum. We will be spreading everyone out a little and limit the numbers in one specific area. We will most likely have two base camps near one another. Taylor Park offers great single track riding and tons of trails for all levels of riders. This will be a great trip so dont miss it.
General directions would be to head down 287 toward Buena Vista you will hit hwy 24 and turn right towards Buena Vista. Drive 3 miles into town and there is one stop light. Turn left towards Cotton Wood Pass. (Stop at the top to see what on coming traffic is heading up. It is very tight passing for the big rigs on top) at the bottom of cotton wood you will turn right and this will send you around Taylor Res. onto a dirt road and you will follow this several miles untill you see the camp ground named Dinner Station on your left we will be just past there on the right. I know there is a trail head marker on the road and a sign that says red mountain right after you make the turn.
EXACT CAMPING LOCATION
At T-junction after coming down Cottonwood pass turn right. Approximately 6.7 miles turn right at trail sign number 742.3H. Continue to the top of hill .4 of a mile we will be on the left side look for Colorado Dirt Rider banner.
