This event will be a global game jam (videogame developers make games in 48 hours) and we will sell the games made during the jam with 100% of the money to be donated to the Pikes Peak American Red Cross ( http://www.pparc.org/ ) and the Colorado Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado ( http://careandshare.org/ ).

This promises to be a lot of fun and our actions and enthusiasm will generate positive media attention for games and local game developers and raise awareness and funds for the victims of our beautiful state. This is a very unique opportunity for you to make a difference with your games.

There will be plenty of freshly prepared, tasty, local food and refreshments donated and delivered to us by local restaurants and possibly foodtrucks throughout the jam!

BlazeJam is a 48-hour game jam and auction to benefit the victims of the Waldo Canyon Fire that destroyed 346 homes in Colorado Springs on June 26, 2012. All proceeds raised, and donations received, will be donated to the Pikes Peak American Red Cross (http://www.pparc.org/) and the Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado (http://www.careandshare.org/).
