Coffee & Waffle Tasting at Urban Steam Coffee & Cafe

Have you ever wondered how different types of coffee compare? When you imagine a coffee tasting, do you imagine waffles too?

Urban Steam roasts coffee in small batches and offers it by the cup. Really. You order the type you want and they grind it up right and make you a cup, then and there! I wrote about this on the Hungry Chicken Homestead website once. They also serve a variety of well-regarded waffles. One of my friends, a person who tries to follow a gluten free diet, whispered to me once, "Their waffles are amazing!" I've never tried the waffles, but now we'll all have our chance!

Join us to taste a sampling of Urban Steam's coffees and a few of their waffles too. Kelly Brubach, the owner and roaster, will talk to us about how he chooses the coffees and the roasting process. He'll answer our questions and I bet Chef Josh tell us about the waffles too!

We'll compare coffees, mingle and spend a lazy Sunday morning with good coffee, food and friends!
