I know all of us continue to feel horrified in the face of the ongoing oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. So, I'd like to propose that, instead of doing a ritual to honor the Fay for Full Moon this month, that we instead do a ritual of healing for the Gulf of Mexico.
It'll be on the same date & time: Sat., June 26, starting at 6:30 p.m.
And the same place: North Cheyenne Canyon Picnic Pavillion
(For all the details, click on this link: Love and Magic for the Gulf Moon
Please bring a small container to carry water and your wand, if you have one. If you don't have a wand, don't worry; you don't have to have one.)
We'll work our Magic in circle at our usual site at the North Cheyenne Canyon Picnic Pavillion; then we'll walk the short distance to North Cheyenne Creek and pour our water, love and healing into the stream. After leaving the canyon, the creek flows into Fountain Creek. Fountain Creek travels south and empties into the Arkansas River at Pueblo. The Arkansas flows into the Mississippi River and from New Orleans, Louisiana, empties into the Gulf of Mexico. So we can literally touch the disaster in the gulf with our energies.
If you're not currently able to walk the distance to and from the creek, don't worry. You can stay in Circle, holding sacred space, and someone can carry your water for you.
Does anyone feel called to help me (Branwyn) co-priestess this ritual? Please send an e-mail to [address removed] and let me know if you do.
This won't be a downer ritual. It'll be a celebration of the power we have to change the world with our Magic. And I think the Fay will like that.
