What we’re about

Do you find yourself pining away at your desk Friday afternoon, eager to sit in traffic in I-70?

Do you love spending 3 hours driving around hoping to find a campsite that isn’t next to an RV generator or a bunch of drunk people?

Do you love waking up with a sore back 2 days out of the week?

Do you love staying out all weekend hiking, biking, climbing, or otherwise chasing a reason to make the work week worth it?

Are you someone who wholeheartedly embraces camping as a way to temporarily erase the painful memories of pouring your life savings into a house you barely get to enjoy?

Let's laugh it off around the campfire!

Our goal is to create a welcoming community of outdoor enthusiasts who are as obsessed with camping as we are, aiming for 30+ nights a year over weekends outside!

Whether you’re rocking the ground tent or the rooftop tent, or you like the little nook in the back of your truck, all tent types are welcome! We ask for no RVs or trailers to preserve space :)

Please be aware of all Leave No Trace principles including:

  1. Plan Ahead and Prepare: Be prepared for your outdoor adventure, research the area, and bring necessary equipment.
  2. Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces: Stick to established trails and camp on durable surfaces like established campsites to avoid damaging vegetation and soil.
  3. Dispose of Waste Properly: Pack out all trash, including food scraps, and properly dispose of human waste following guidelines specific to the area.
  4. Leave What You Find: Leave natural and cultural features as you found them, refrain from picking flowers, damaging trees, or removing artifacts.
  5. Minimize Campfire Impacts: Follow fire regulations, use established fire rings if available, or use a camping stove instead of building a new fire pit.
  6. Respect Wildlife: Observe animals from a distance, do not feed them, and store food securely to prevent wildlife encounters.
  7. Be Considerate of Other Visitors: Respect the rights and experiences of others by keeping noise levels down, yielding to hikers, and being mindful of your impact on their enjoyment of the outdoors.
