Join Walking Movement Leader and Walk2Connect Founder, Jonathon Stalls for a NE Park Hill walkabout walking from The Garden/Love, Peace, & Sol Cafe, to Mountain Fresh Market, to the new Dahlia Campus for Health & Well-being, and through Axum Park. We will finish the walk back at Love, Peace, & Sol Cafe (https://www.facebook.com/lovepeacesolcafe/) for an amazing vegan comfort food lunch. This will be a fun and informative mid-day walking experience for those who want to check out new happenings in the NE Park Hill community while support the amazing culinary flavors Love, Peace, & Sol has to offer.
Schedule, Parking, & Meeting Location: We will meet near the bike rack next to the entry sidewalk going towards The Garden on 35th & Albion in NE Park Hill. You can park anywhere on Albion St. or in the parking lot just South of The Garden. We will leave NO later than 10:35AM.
Welcome Waivers: Please fill out the online “Welcome Waiver” (http://walk2connect.wpengine.com/welcomewaiver) or download, print, sign, and turn in a hard copy if this will be your first Walk2Connect walking experience in 2016.
Breaks, Restrooms: We will have a restroom option halfway through at the Dahlia Campus. Please plan to use the restroom beforehand.
Lunch: Please plan on bringing $15 CASH with you for lunch afterwards. This is a lunch & walk combination and all walking participants are expected to join for lunch afterwards. This will be a set menu and all menu items are homemade and vegan.
Consider Bringing:
- Comfortable socks & shoes (pref. NON cotton socks!)
- Extra layers in case we have cooler temps
- Head cap, scarf, gloves
- Water, small backpack to carry extras
- Camera
