CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. RESCHEDULING FOR JUNE 9th. TYPE: Walk’n Talk| PACE: Conversational | TERRAIN: Sidewalk (some broken), road, and gravel path | DISTANCE: Approx. 1.5 miles
Join us for a fun walk focused on pedestrian and bike connections to and from downtown Denver! We’ll walk around the neighborhoods of Five Points and Curtis Park, discuss development and connectivity, and talk about the built environment and how it can affect our walkability and enjoyment.
The walk is open to all ages, families, all abilities, and well-behaved dogs (6′ leash or less please)! Bring your friends and family! No camera necessary – we will provide them for anyone to use!
We will meet at 4:30p outside of the Curtis Club. Street parking is available but may be limited. Please give yourself plenty of time to park and find us! We will leave by 4:40pm and arrive back at Curtis Club by 5:30pm.
CityMixer Happy Hour will start at 5:30 at Curtis Club. ____
Bring water, layered clothes, good walking shoes, smiles, and insight! We’ll provide some light snacks, and facilitate conversation! Please plan to use the restroom beforehand.
