We are the Colorado Solo Sams, a chapter of the Good Sam Club, for Good Sam single RVers.
Our Mission
To further the principles of the Good Sam Club, to create interest in camping, travel, enjoyment, fun and companionship of singles who uphold the Good Sam Pledge.
Membership is open to both men and women, who are single as a result of death of a spouse, divorce, or by choice. We like the companionship of others who enjoy the outdoors, RVing or camping. During spring, summer and fall we enjoy campouts. Most of the campouts are held at Colorado State Parks. During winter we meet at members' homes or restaurants. We generally attend the annual RV show at the convention center as a group activity.
Activities include hiking, biking, fishing and exploring the outdoor opportunities in Colorado. All of our members have some sort of RV rig, such as travel trailers or motorhomes. Evening campfires are a must at our group functions! Who wants s'mores?!?!?!?!?
membership:
To be eligible for membership in our chapter we ask that you are a member of the Good Sam Club national organization. Our chapter dues are $10.00 annually. To get acquainted with our group we invite you to attend our outings. Membership is open to both men and women but you must be legally single. Our charter requires that you own a camping unit, but if you want to rent an RV and give it a try, we welcome you to visit the group.
I urge you to check out the message board for proposed trips. Your feedback is important to us. Thanks!
The December meeting of the Colorado Solo Sams Club will be lunch at the Denver Bass Pro Shop's Islamorado Fish Company Restaurant followed by shopping at the Bass Pro Shop for all your holiday camping needs! This will be an excellent opportunity to come out and meet the members of the club before camping season starts. Mark your calendar now because December is a busy month!
We had a great time last year!
