"Speciesism: The Movie " Free Film Screening Event

                                           Speciesism: The Movie

Join us for a FREE showing of this brand-new, soon to be released documentary!

Doors open at 6:30 and film begins at 7:00. Light refreshments and food samples will be offered.

Synopsis: In 1975, a young writer published a book arguing that no justifications exist for considering humans more important than members of other species.  It slowly began to gain attention. Today, a quickly growing number of prominent individuals and political activists are adopting its conclusions. They have termed the assumption of human superiority speciesism. And, as a result, they rank these animal factories among the greatest evils in our history. Speciesism: The Movie brings viewers face-to-face with the leaders of this developing movement, and, for the first time ever on film, fully examines the purpose of what they are setting out to do.

Excellent film. Amazing how the narrator was able to insert humor into a subject matter so intensively deep.

There is a verse in the Bible that says we are to cherish (treasure) animals, yet very few Christians care to consider the implications of what that verse means. If the 140 million so called Christians in America cared more for God's creation then factory farming practices would change overnight! I hope this video can help many of them to stop denying that there is a huge problem!

Animals don't have feeling either...haha, just joking. This should
be very interesting. Sad and telling that we're living in one of
the epic mass extinction periods on the meteor required!
