BETTER TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY:  Joel Collins is a professional travel photographer based in the USA (Irmo!). His lifelong passion for international travel started at age three when his family moved to Germany. He spent the next several years traveling across Europe and North Af- rica learning to live out of a suitcase. The enthusiasm of that young world traveleris still alive in Joel today. Now he explores the world with camera in hand, looking forward to each new adventure as an opportunity to capture another glimpse of our amazing planet. Joel approaches travel photography with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and respect. He has a patient and immersive style, often blending in with local populations and making friends before taking out his camera. So whether your assignment is close to home or far away, Joel will have many helpful tips on making your images more than simple snapshots.Joel hosts several travel photography tours each year.
