I love working in HDR-landscapes as well as people. I've been practicing portraiture lately, but am looking to learn anything and everything I can about photography. I didn't discover my love for photography until about a year and a half ago, and that was a bit by accident. Now that I know where my true passion lies I can't seem to get enough of it, and am pretty much game to learn about any sort of photography or photographic opportunity that comes my way.
I'd have to say somewhere in the moderate range probably. I've spent hours on end searching out tutorials and workshops, and have taken some online classes through ed2go. I've had a few photographer friends take me under their wing and teach me some things as well. I've got a good start but know I've got so incredibly much more to learn....
I use a Canon T3i-its the first dslr I've owned. I'd really love to upgrade to a full frame as soon as the budget allows-I decided to invest in my lenses before upgrading my camera body. I don't think I could do without my Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 lens-I use it for my landscapes and love it to death. I have a couple fast Canon lens that I use fairly regularly as well.
I'd love to learn more about portrait/studio photography, lighting, and post processing-specifically Elements 11
I know a bit about HDR photography and I'd be more than happy to help anyone out with it. I'd love to share whatever knowledge I do have with whoever wants to know.
My name is Helen and I live in Irmo, SC with my husband and twin boys.
