Rites of Transformation

Have you heard the call? Does your heart skip a beat when you see others achieving something you want to achieve as well? Do you feel the push to start a new beginning only to find yourself stranded without motivation to continue?

These are common problems faced by people everywhere, in many life situations. We start out empowered, and some how lose track of that power. It leaves us behind.

We can get the power back.

These rites combine the ritual theories of various scholars with the Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell. These rites will feature a different hearth culture in each one, with hearth-specific deities, omen taking, magic-workings and meditations.

The first portion of the gatherings will feature a discussion of the current stages of the hero's journey which are applied to the ritual in the second portion. The rituals follow the ADF Core Order of Ritual. These are Druidic in nature but the lessons are universal. It is not necessary to attend all five rites to receive the benefits of the workshop series. The more rites you attend, the greater the benefit to yourself personally.

About the Presenter: Rev. Amber Skyspirit is a Druid Priestess with Three Cranes Grove in Columbus, Ohio. She is very active in community service, serving for several years on staff at local Pagan festivals, presenting workshops, and leading public rites.
