Let's go down to Alley Spring Park and float the Jacks Fork River. The leaves won't be out yet, so bluff and wildlife viewing should be prime. The bluffs are spectacular the whole length of the first 25 miles of river.
We'll arrive on Friday night and camp at Alley Spring Park. Saturday morning we'll load up our gear and shuttle with Harvey's Canoe Rental to the HWY 17 access. From there we will float the river down past the bluffs and Jam Up Cave to Rhymer's Access. Arrival time should be somewhere around 4:00pm. From there Harvey's will pick us up and shuttle us back to Alley Spring.
Sunday's float will start at Alley Spring and end at Two Rivers Landing.

Everyone is responsible for their own food/drinks on the river. Dinner Saturday night will be the usual potluck style.
If several people are interested in renting canoes or kayaks we should be able to get a group discount. With no discount canoes are $47.00/day and kayaks are $25.00/day. Kayak rate applies if two or more or rented, otherwise they are the same price as canoes.

Travel time from HWY 141 and 44 is about three hours.

Spring is known to be the best time of year to float the Jacks Fork.
