Join us and meet other men face-to-face in a non-bar setting each Monday evening. Doors open at 7 P.M. Meeting runs from 7:30 to 9:30 P.M. with a break in the middle. We offer coffee, tea, snacks, and 100% confidentiality.

We are affiliated with the GLBT Community Center of Colorado, but we do not meet there; click Join for our meeting location, which is in the 80218 ZIP code.

You are invited. Men of any age, shape and size, race, religion, or nationality are all welcome.

Since 1976, the Coming Out Being Out group has provided a place for men age 18 and up to discuss the processes of coming out and being out, which we define as the series of choices leading to lifelong self-acceptance. We are not a therapy group but provide a welcoming social lounge for talking with others in a relaxed, informal setting. Each evening, a designated facilitator moderates the group discussion. Each meeting attracts about two dozen attendees, although only a small fraction of our community is represented on Meetup.

Coming Out Being Out has no application process or official membership roster other than what you see here. You are free to pick and choose the meetings you attend. However, we request a $2 contribution from those who can afford it for rent, printing, food, and beverages. The facilitators will be glad to talk to you individually if you have a topic you do not want to address in the group.
