This group is for anyone interested in Qigong. All levels are welcome. Qigong makes your body strong and builds energy using breath & movement.
The mind-body practices of Qigong sustain and improve the health of the immune system, nervous system, internal organs; and improve the ability to lower stress. This is accomplished through the combination of breathing, meditation and movement.
Proper posture, spinal alignment, and centering are integral components of the movement. Meditation promotes increased brain plasticity, heightened motor sensory consciousness, greater ability to focus awareness, and alteration of gene transcription to promote health and healing.
