At this time, we've merged with the Social Science Meetup group, which is interested in any aspect of society, including social policies, and also including other aspects of society, because they're really all related - for example, that includes values, social philosophy, sociology, social history, current events, social psychology, arts and society, political science,  society and technology, social evolution, international relations, anthropology, economic history, urban studies, economic development, ethics, etc.

The Social Science Meetup group meets on the 1st Sunday of each month, 1:30 - 3:30.  We usually go out to dinner after the Meetup.  Also, we sometimes go to movies as a group, and can do some other things as a group, such as go to museums, historic sites, etc. If you're interested, contact us through the Social Science Meetup group: http://www.meetup.com/social-science/

We welcome open-minded people from any background, who are interested in social issues, and who also want to go beyond polarized views of  social issues, and explore a more cooperative approach.
