Incessant social activist, currently focused on human trafficking and marine conservation. Woodworker by profession, avid diver by avocation. Co-organize the grassroots NGO "Fight Slavery Now!" http://www.FightSlaveryNow.Org
Particularly interested in CDI's involvement in Haiti.
Almost every day. Crosstown to work, rain or shine.
But of course!
Social Justice. Eradicating human trafficking. Promoting marine conservation. Defying gravity: scuba, caving, paddling, trapeze... moving in three dimensions.
Hope to be counted among those who did not stand silent.
CDI seems broadly engaged across the spectrum of social justice issues and I look forward to being a part of their efforts. I have run across CDI at protest demonstrations, fundraisers, panel discussions, movies and other events. They are a great group of smart and dedicated humanitarians committed to improving life for those on the lowest rungs of the social ladder. Their approach is well reasoned, and their success measurable and sustainable.
