Reiki Master Graduation Ceremony

  • Sep 27, 2013 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

NOTE:  Location has changed!  See details below.

This community ceremony will honor the transformational journey that each practitioner embraced to earn the title of Reiki Master.  YOUR presence matters!

Join me in comm-Unity to celebrate these men and women and their role in our lives.  Each of them felt called to Reiki for healing in their own lives and the lives of those around them.

YOU have an important role at this event.  Here's why your presence matters:

Michael Meade, a healer who uses story as his method, teaches that ritual is how we know we are in community

He tells of many tribes who send solo villagers out into the wilderness with a task to complete before returning home (like a vision quest).  Fear, struggle, and triumph are inherent in this rite of passage.  This experience teaches the villager to reach deep within to discover the gold that resides there.

The individual is then welcomed home upon the return!  He/She is welcomed with song and open arms.  The villager is seen and heard.  It is expected that the wisdom gained will be shared with the tribe.  This person now has a new role in the community.

I see the path toward Reiki Master in much the same way.

I have witnessed the challenges, growth and healing that each of these men and women faced during their extensive training and practice.  I honor them.

It is our privilege, as their tribe, to welcome these healers back from their journey.

They have a new role, and each will express it differently.  It may simply be their presence as they radiate the healing vibration of Reiki Master, or they may choose to actively support and/or teach others.  Each embodiment of Reiki Master has tremendous value for each of us individually and for the planet as a whole.

Please join me!  Your presence is enough.  Your presence says, "I see you.  I see that you've returned and I support you."  Your presence, even if you don't know another soul there, is POWERFUL.  You ARE part of this community.

Please RSVP ASAP to reserve seats for you and your guests.  Feel free to invite family and friends!

Change of Location:

Transformation Station is moving!  The new address is:

1111 E Brickyard Rd (3190 S), Suite 202
Salt Lake City

Easiest access is to turn North on 1100 E from 3300 S.  You'll see a big office building there at Riches Ave. (past the Victorian style house).  There is parking on both the South and North sides of the building and our meeting space is upstairs.  I hope to have enough people present that both lots are needed!

Thank you all for showing up to support the graduates! Thanks to the graduates for answering the call to incorporate Reiki into their lives and thanks for showing up for yourself and each other at the graduation. One graduate told me that she initially felt that she didn't "need" the ceremony, but she was glad she attended and felt it was a good thing. I didn't have the chance to connect to everyone at the end of the event. I particularly wanted to thank the woman who arrived later. What is your name? You looked familiar to me. Thank you for joining us!

Tracy, am I welcome to attend this graduation as a Reiki rookie and observer? I sincerely and respectfully want to see and rejoice with new graduates. If yes, what is appropriate dress standard if an issue.

Everyone is welcome, Steve. As this is a very special event, I hope everyone will dress up more than usual.

Last call for graduates! If you have completed Reiki Master training with me and want to participate in this ceremony to recognize your investment and your journey, and to support your fellow Reiki Masters, please RSVP now. I'm in the final stages of preparation and want to be prepared for you. Thanks! And to the rest of you, please join us even if you don't know a soul and don't know anything about Reiki. You are invited and your presence is requested. RSVP so that I know you'll be there.

I was recently attuned to 2nd level. Is this for all people who are interested in learning more, working to become Reiki master and supporting those who have mastered Reiki? I have not been to this meetup yet, as I am new to this group. So I don't want to come to something I am not supposed to come to. =) But would love to! thank you!

Debbie! Thanks for asking. It would be great to have at the Graduation. Please join us and bring family and friends. You were right about all of the above. Everyone is not only welcome, but needed. A great way to build community is to support one another. The more the merrier at this event!
