This group is a book club that reads books focused on compassionate living, making the choice to reduce suffering for ourselves and other beings. The choices we make day to day can have effects that we are not aware of, effects that affect the quality of life for all. When we are unaware of these effects, we are unable to reduce cruelty and suffering in the world.

This book club is a great place to join like-minded people in our efforts to educate ourselves and explore the factual, philosophical, and emotional aspect of our lives.

We meet twice a month, every other Sunday. Even if you do not own the book in which we are currently reading, and have not read the material, you are welcome to join us in our discussion of these topics.

This book club is hosted by Compassionate Action for Animals, a Twin Cities-based animal advocacy organization.
