Compostmodern Build It! - Hands on Event

Compostmodern (https://www.compostmodern.org) invites everyone to join in a sustainable, hands-on event, where we will collaboratively build conference structures from found materials!

From various reuse materials such as, plastics, aluminum, cardboard, cloth, and more....we will spend a Saturday creating a podium and a few other artistic structures that will be utilized and displayed at Compostmodern.

The event will be a open working session that starts at 9:30am and will run to 3:30pm or later.

I have posted some sketches and prototype photos (https://www.meetup.com/Compostmodern/photos/1145885/) of what we are looking to create. Aside from the podium we are looking to translate the Compostmodern symbol (https://www.meetup.com/Compostmodern/photos/1145885/#19540910) into various 3D structures. These structures will be displayed beside the podium and throughout the conference hall.

We will be providing some materials and tools, however you are encouraged to bring your own tools, re-use items, and of course your creative minds!
