CCHS members only workshop for the ESP8266 Wi-Fi module

Recommended: Please read this link. (https://groups.google.com/d/msg/connected-community-hackerspace/sz24NJ1i4FI/sSqjg8iWuTIJ) Bring an ESP8266 module, e.g ESP-01, bring a USB-serial adaptor (3.3V) preferably with an adapter cable for your ESP8266 module, install ESPlorer (http://esp8266.ru/esplorer) on your laptop and the Java run-time.

Topics: Installing NodeMCU firmware (Lua scripting, rather than AT commands), using the hardware peripherals, setting-up TCP/UDP clients / servers, setting-up a web server, creating an MQTT client.

If other duty members wish to open earlier or stay later, that would be very welcome.
