January Meeting - NetBeans Project Management

NetBeans is and incredibly powerful and rich IDE. It can be used for building everything from Java EE apps to rich desktop clients, native applications using C++, and PHP web applications. As a result NetBeans is incredibly flexible and has many different project types and templates. If you work on an existing project one of the biggest hurdles to switching to NetBeans can be figuring out how to import and work with an existing source code tree. This presentation will guide you through the numerous project types and options and explain how they work. Integration with NetBeans specific features such as JavaFX, JUnit, Hudson, and the NetBeans Profiler will be tackled. By the end of this presentation you will be an expert on setting up and managing NetBeans projects.
