Connecticut Riders Meet, Greet, and Ride

I think we would be doing our fellow riders a disservice if we didn't have an official meet and greet this riding season. Let's agree on a day, this month or May, where most of us (I know that not everyone's schedule is the same) can meet up as a group, get to know each other, and go riding together for a day. And with this meetup's success I hope more riders can come forward with new events and group riding routes for us to explore together.

UPDATE AS OF 5-28-2013

How's everyone doing? I'm glad to see so many people planning to attend this ride. As a quick heads up, the weather forecast for the day of the ride is mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s, and low wind which is perfect riding weather in my books. At the moment there is a 10% chance of rain but I don't see that being a concern. However, if it does upgrade to 30% chance of rain (which means moderate rainfall) the day before then we will have to postpone the ride to the following sunday. I will repeat...
IF IT RAINS THE DAY OF THE MEET, THE RIDE WILL BE PUSHED TO SUNDAY, JUNE 9. SAME TIME, SAME PLACE.

UPDATE AS OF 5-29-2013

As you know, the meetup will be at 8:30 am. We're going to shoot for kickstands up at 9:15 am. In keeping with the meet and greet aspect of the event I want to give everyone enough time to meet each other and get to know each other a little bit before we depart. I also want to give everyone enough time so that we can figure out how many groups we will be riding in if we decide to split up the ride and who will be leading. Sorry for the late notice.
