Sometimes you need to act before you think and feel. It's the power of your instincts...

Dear friend,

"You know, you could be sitting around procrastinating with some distraction or other, the busy brain churning away thinking, remembering, anticipating, worrying, seemingly random thoughts in a constant flow, mostly in the background while you're pottering around, drinking tea or coffee or whatever, but every now and then a particular thought calls out to your conscious attention a little bit more than the others.

How does that happen? And then, once in a while, seemingly out of nowhere, you get one of those 'whoa' thoughts that change everything, that make you rethink your relationship with the whole world all in one go.

How does that happen? How is it that meaningful ideas can come from that meandering, churning chaos of incessant mental babbling? Is that just a random probability thing?" (N. Giolla Rua)

Certainly not, thoughts are powerful and indeed they can change the whole world. The idea is to allow ourselves to act before we think or feel about it, because if we interfere with our instincts, we impede the natural flow that gives us the ability to do things in an energized way.

The secret thus, is to learn to trust our instincts and to leverage their power...
