The Business Case for Content Strategy with Jack Molisani

Do you think it’s obvious that investing in content strategy/content management now will save your company money in the long run? Are you frustrated when Management doesn’t instantly agree?

Building a business case for resources can be challenging, especially if you have few (if any) credible industry metrics to quote. Join us as Jack Molisani shares case studies, metrics and hard-won lessons learned about how to build a business case to fund content initiatives. This conversation about Content Strategy will resonate from the C-suite to the creative team.

Jack Molisani is the president of ProSpring Technical Staffing, an employment agency specializing in engineers and technical writers: Jack is also the Executive Director of The LavaCon Conference on Digital Media and Content Strategies. The 11th Anniversary LavaCon will be held October, 2013 in Portland.

Thanks Jack! It was nice to catch up with you at STC as well. Great presentation and participatory dynamic.

And, it would've been nice to socialize a bit after.

I think it was a good presentation, but the acoustics, esp with the HVAC running, made it impossible to hear in the back of the room.

I also was unable to hear much from the back of the room, but the Surf Incubator crew just moved into that space and I think there are plans for installing an audio system.

Jack was a dynamic presenter. He did a great job of interacting with the group and his presentation was accessible and relevant to a varied audience which I appreciated.

Can't believe it, client dinners two months in a row. Wish I could be there.

I can't believe this. The first time in 4 years we run into a childcare issue, along with conflicts for the night. Not a bad streak, but I'm annoyed to not make it. I need a full report, a link to the SlideShare and a glass of scotch - stat!

Well, I'm on papa duty, so make it a party and then send me the notes.

I'll be there in spirit this time around.

I'll be bringing copies for everyone of the Intercom magazine May issue on Content Strategy. The issue includes articles by The Content Wrangler Scott Abel, Rahel Bailie, Content Marketing Institute's Robert Rose, and Yours Truly. Don't forget there is also a free entrance to LavaCon as a door prize, so bring your business card for the drawing!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
