Come dance to a live caller and band with ContraMontreal. We are an intergenerational, inclusive community with one thing in common: we love to contra!
Contra dance is a high energy American folk dance accompanied by live string music and taught by a caller. No partner or experience required. All dances are taught in advance and the figures are easy to learn.
Please bring a pair of clean, soft soled shoes {no spike heels} to dance in, and a water bottle.
The intro class goes on from 6:30pm to 7pm, we highly recommend it for new dancers.
