Join us to talk about the New Testament from a Scholar's perspective

We'll be watching a lecture excerpt by Professor Bart Ehrman for discussion purposes. The focus this week will be how the early Christian church established its authority and became a text-based, belief-based religion. We take this orientation for granted, but was quite different than the Roman religions that surrounded the early Christian church.

Come join us to engage in conversation using "conversational symmetries", a process that encourages everyone to participate in discussions. (ok to just listen and observe, too). Topics will change periodically, so check back at this site for a more specific description as topics are selected.

Each session is unique and varies according to the participants who attend. If you are new, you will fit right in.
