URGENT! Brazil-Mexico soccer match tonight on TV

Caros amigos da língua portuguesa:
This evening (Tuesday October 11, 2011) there will be a soccer match between Brazil and Mexico broadcast live on television from Mexico. Our meeting place, Brazil by the Bay in San Diego, will be filled with Brazilian futebol fans (torcedores) assistindo o jogo na TV.  This is an excellent opportunity to observe Brazilian as they watch their national sport.
Even though this game is a "friendly," we recommend that any Mexican fanáticos who show up at Brazil by the Bay tonight be aware of possible episodes of antagonism if your team scores a goal or (Deus nos livre!) wins the game.
As you all know, the purpose of our group is to learn more about the Portuguese language, as well as the culture of Brazil, Portugal, and other Portuguese-speaking countries.
Previous experience during games of futebol brasileiro on TV indicates that there will be very little opportunity for friendly informal conversation during the game (as well as several hours before and after). However, you will have the opportunity to hear the language spoken by dozens of natives. You may even learn some new words not found in standard dicionários.
If you choose to go to our meeting, please do so with a knowledge of the above advertências (Don't say we didn't tell you!).
Hasta la vista, baby!
A gente se ve (eu espero!).
Tom
P.S.: We also recommend that any Brazilian fans who venture into a Mexican establishment take similar precautions.
