This group gets together to cook an elegant multi-course lunch using fresh ingredients straight from the Farmer's Market that are grown locally, sustainably, humanely, and taste sublime. We pour premium wines sourced from our extensive private cellar that pair with the meal.
No cooking experience required. I provide the wine, recipes, kitchen, and ingredients that I buy the morning of the meetup from the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market.
We will typically meet on Saturday at our home in Burlingame Hills. I will go through the menu, explain how one cook with a little bit of planning would prepare and execute the entire meal. Then we work together to cook a multi-course gourmet lunch paired with premium wines. Stacy will show us how to entertain with style. Some of the ingredients will be heirloom varieties that are only found at the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market.
Every week I send our members a weekly email about what's cooking that week fresh from the Market, which also gets posted to the Message Board as an archive. These emails include reports about our meetups; what the vendors at the Market are offering at the stalls; and sometimes some cooking tips. There is also a Recipes forum on the Message Board that includes a collection of recipes along with instructions.
