We are an eclectic assembly of writers. We have several members who have been published, while others are still trying to find their muse. Our group covers most genres, from non-fiction to sci-fi, from thriller to young adult.

This meetup is for sharing and reviewing one's writing, in order to make us better writers. We focus on constructive critiquing that aims to reveal what is best in one's work, and what could be improved upon. So far, it has been a big success. Writers in our meetup have gained motivation to finish their started works, and found fresh inspiration for new pieces. 

We stress that the "giving" of a review or critique should come before the receiving of one. In other words, you must review other writers work (at least one piece per meeting) before you can expect to receive any accolades. 

While we understand that many writers suffer from writer's block, we ask that future members be currently working on a project, as opposed to waiting to start one, or have no idea where to begin. Even if the project is just scraps of notes, at least something to pass among the group.

Our only other stipulation is that you must attend at least one meetup per month. Unlike other online workshops, this is not a strictly digital environment. We meet weekly, alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Most members have divided evenly to meet on at least one of these days, essentially making this one club into two groups. Others go to both. Whatever your schedule can manage, all we ask is that you attend regularly, as we do hand out work to take home and people are waiting for your review. 

So far we have had a lot of fun, and most people feel this group is beneficial to honing their skills.
