Auditions will take place on Wednesday 27th November (6-9 pm) and on Saturday 30th November (2-5 pm) at VerdensKulturCenter, Nørre Allé 7, 2200 Kbh N. The auditions will be held in room number 106. Please contact Sylvain Verdier [masked] to get a time slot and you will also be given more instructions.
We all know what storytelling is and we have experienced it ever since we were very young: our parents reading us a story before going to bed, our grandparents sharing some of their life stories, a friend telling you a joke in a pub, a librarian at school reading from popular authors, such as from Roald Dahl's imaginative books, etc. Storytelling is everywhere.
We believe that the community formed by our theatre group can definitely contribute to the storytelling movement and share meaningful, useful and entertaining stories. Therefore, we would like to arrange a night of storytelling with a chosen theme.
The theme we chose for this first night of storytelling is: “Childhood”.
It can be a fairytale (revisited or not), an autobiographic story starting with “when I was little, I thought that...” for example, family stories you heard growing up and that you are willing to share, a story explaining why Wonder Woman was your hero when you grew up... Anything can work!
The story would ideally last about 10 minutes and should not require any technical assistance (i.e. no lighting or sound equipment). Besides that, no limitations!
Performances will take place at the end of February.
