Twitter is full of interesting people and contains patterns and groups you never thought existed. Mikkel Krogsholm will give you an introduction to how you can scrape Twitter for the information you need and the setup he use. Mikkel has analysed when to tweet your favorite politician, he figured out that the right-wing politicians are the angriest across the danish political Twitter sphere and he even knows what content your tweets should have to get the highest engagement from your followers. You might have read some of his blog (http://borsen.dk/opinion/blogs/author/7543230/mikkel_krogsholm.html) post on Børsen.dk (http://borsen.dk) or found him on Twitter (https://twitter.com/mikkelkrogsholm) already.

Mikkel now heads his own startup called 56north (www.56n.dk (http://www.56n.dk/)) where he aims to arm people and companies with all insights you can get from good data.

And since it's friday... Let's go out for a beer afterwards!

UPDATE: Sebastian Barfort will do a quick talk on his new package mapDK, which makes it easy to make choropleth maps of Denmark with R and ggplot2.
