Ben Yoskovitz, who joined our Lean Analytics meetup in May 2013, recently posted a blog post on "Lean Startup versus Raising Capital (http://www.instigatorblog.com/lean-startup-versus-raising-capital/2013/06/24/)". He argues that while "Lean Startup is (...) about going slow before going fast" and "moving backward before moving forward", investing on the other hand "is about storytelling and big vision."

We're excited to have Max Niederhofer join our meetup on September 12th, where we'll explore the relation between venture capital and lean startup.

Max Niederhofer (@MaxNiederhofer (https://twitter.com/maxniederhofer)) is the latest and most exciting addition to our local VC scene.

Coming from a VP role over at Accel Partners, he is now with Sunstone Capital doing "West Coast-style venture capital in Europe" with focus on early-stage tech companies.

Max turned from being entrepreneur to professional investor in 2007. He was involved in startups such as DailyMotion, Last.fm, Seatwave and Qwerly. In 2012, he was named "Best Startup Advisor/Mentor 2012" at The Europas.
