Shane Mitchell will kick off this session with a talk about:
"Entrepreneurship and the Internet of Things"
Shane is a business strategist focused on the market applications of technology, future of cities, communities and global innovation networks. Most recently, Shane has been leading the Internet of Things programmes at Digital Catapult. He will give examples of how entrepreneurs around the world are using open data, Internet of things (IoT), sensing platforms, and how technology can enable the social life of communities.
His talk will focus on the opportunities for Cornwall based entrepreneurs working in these areas.
This event is open to local businesses, students or anyone with good ideas stemming from new technologies.
