Lab reorganization party!

Please join us for lab cleanup and reorganization this evening - the first step in upgrading our infrastructure, now that we've received the Kickstarter funds! The more the merrier, so please come help pitch in!

There will be beer and maybe snacks. This is a great way to meet a bunch of our new members and get to know what kind of equipment and supplies CCL has.

We especially need you help if you have any laboratory experience, or electrical or carpentry skills! There's much more than just cleanup to be done, and we'd like to take this opportunity to make some significant improvements in functionality for the space. Here's some important milestones we'd love to reach today:

• Plugging in the -40C freezer! I've already rewired outlets to make some capacity available on the circuit.

• Put blue tape and warnings around the wetlab perimeter

• Make the BSL-2 lab functional (as a BSL-1 for now)
Get a head start on electrical work! We can start installing conduit once we get stuff moved away from the walls...

• Cabinetry! Need to attach the last side panels to the giant work benches. There's a hanging cabinet that needs a back panel, and one partial cabinet that should either be junked or fixed up.
