Very interesting for me, but I will take off one star since it was very much less interesting for my wife, who was getting hot and tired with the hot, humid weather, which sapped her zeal for photo making. On the other hand, listening to the re-enactors is like delving into miniature historic time capsules. tThese are young and older adults who are very interested in the historic period and recreate everything down to the detail, including the money they have in their pockets, such as coins from wartime Germany. The uniforms are mostly reproductions, only because the real ones would not hold up. The kits are authentic down to very tiny details, not only including the weapons, badges and vehicles, but things like toiletries and foodstuffs...replica C-rations or German sardines...this is fascinating stuff listening to how the troops prepared and trained, how the British parachute landing techniques were different and superior to American and German techniques...everything!

I enjoyed the WWII reinactment, but enjoyed photographing it even more!
