Holiday Cocktail Party 101 - Demo by Sal Zappone

Do you need some fresh and exciting ideas for your next cocktail party?  The holidays are coming and this event is to give you ideas and teach you how to have a successful cocktail party.  Be prepared for the upcoming holidays!

Sal Zappone, Chef and owner of Zappone's Italian Bistro will be leading a cooking class on Saturday, September 14. He will demo some appetizers, mini desserts and Sangria for your next holiday cocktail party.

The cost of the class is $30.00 (plus 18% gratuity) which can be paid at the time you arrive for the course with cash or credit card. RSVP is absolute necessary because seats are limited. During the class you are welcome to order wine, tea, soda, etc - and it will be included on your bill. Enjoy the food during class (come ready to have a great lunch) and take home all the recipes to impress your guests.

The class is about 1 1/2 - 2 hours of fun and great food!

    Thank you for the candid comments. I wans't able to attend this meet up as I was traveling but I'm disappointed it wasn't a success. We partner with the Zappone's restaurant to host these events and when I reached out to them to share the concerns I got no response. We have since decided not to post them anymore and continue the partnership. We will only include events that are planned by myself and Monette. We hope you will join us again! CHristmas cookies will be fun!

    I was really looking forward to this and am sorry to be negative. But for the price, I felt it was not worthwhile. My bill was $45 for a plate of hors hors d'oeuvres, a small tiramisu and 2 glasses of sangria. They did not say they were charging for the 2nd glass so that was a surprise. They demo'd 5 items and we were done in 45 mins so I guess I was a little disappointed.

    Would I be able to bring my 13 year old daughter as class participant? She wants to be a chef and short of the Sangria she'd enjoy the demo.

      Jon, I think this cooking class would be perfect for your daughter. Sal often asks people to assist him with the preparation and cooking so she might enjoy participating on that too. And yes, it might be a few years before she could enjoy the Sangria but appetizers and desserts are great for young chefs to start on!
