Local Organic Farm Volunteer Project & Potluck Lunch

Details
Lets have some fun and food!
Treehugger Organic Farms is in need of our help. The winter mood is fading and being replaced by the blooming Spring era. Much change will be happening at the farm to reflect the change of season. We invite all of you to come and join us in a day that will prove to be fun and productive.
-You can volunteer anytime you want from 7am- 12pm, but we ask to at least volunteer two hours of your time.
Need a few reasons to come out and play with us that day?
-Help a young small farm in your community prosper and learn skills and tips you can apply in your own garden.
-Get a workout in fresh air and sunshine.
-Networking; Meet new people with similar interest in gardening organically
-Get some free produce as we clear the beds
What to expect?
-Planting fruit trees
-Cover cropping
-Moving banana trees to better location on the land
-Gleaning (clearing beds of left over produce)
-Weeding
What can you bring? (not a must, but could come in handy)
A pitchfork, shovel, Grocery bags or box to get produce to take home after clearing the beds
The farm will make sure you remain hydrated with coconut water, watermelons and water.
The Grand Finale will be a vegan pot luck at noon.
Bring a dish to share with others your culinary talents and make new friends. Organic ingredients please.
See you at the Farm!
