Facing some challenges on an iPad project getting audio sync'd with animation, Jack busted out his Actionscript skills and created a tool to help with the process. Learn about the challenges Jack faced and how he used Actionscript to parse story text, export images of individual words and then synchronize the glow of words with narration (in slow motion!!).

Nadine will be showing some custom peripherals made for game jams, including a knife throwing board, something that allows you to control cartoon squids, and a few experiments from workshops, and other collaborative gaming events.

In 2012 Township & Company embarked to create 40 minutes of animated content for a feature length documentary entitled “Inside the mind of Leonardo” which explores the thoughts and processes of genius inventor and artist Leonardo Da Vinci. While producing 40 minutes of CG animation and VFX is in itself a daunting task, our small team had the added challenge of creating this work in stereoscopic 3D.

Using examples from the film we will present the unique challenge of creating motion design, cg animation and VFX for Stereo.
