FREE - "The Activation" introductory workshop for releasing trauma.

I'm excited to share this really great workshop for releasing trauma by the wonderful Paula Anderson. I worked with Paula in addiction recovery out in the "Malibu Rehab Riviera" and she is a wonderful therapist and dear friend.

“The Activation” is a groundbreaking healing technique that is pulsating through Hong Kong, Russia, Australia, Germany, and England.  What sets The Activation apart from other modalities is it rapidly gets to the bottom of an issue.  Rather than dealing with a symptom, such as depression, and processing the events around the depression, The Activation is interested in what made you vulnerable to the symptom.  What was missing inside in the first place that made you vulnerable to having the symptom or behavior?  It uses a unique approach to find what was originally missing and restores it by incorporating cutting-edge trauma work to release the trauma and reconnect you to, or “activate,” an inner state of love or joy, for example.

This process is beneficial for anyone who wants to heal trauma, resolve conflicts in work or relationships, release self-sabotage, and create personal transformation.  This course is helpful for individuals wanting to create change in their life as well as healing professionals who want to add a powerful, effective modality to their toolbox.

For more information go to or call (323) 683-6695.

This free workshop is an introduction to a wonderful three day workshop on July 19, 20, and 21.

Paula is the founder of Creative Mindwork Hypnosis, a successful private practice in Los Angeles, California.  From an early age Paula has been fascinated with the deeper healing abilities of the mind. This has resulted in a lifelong exploration of the mind in relation to the human experience.  After graduating from California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in cello performance, she studied hypnosis, yoga, and meditation.  She also practiced Zen Buddhist meditation with Ed Wortz, the co-founder, and with Ven. Dr. Thich Thien, from the International Buddhist Meditation Center in Los Angeles.  This deeply informs her work as she brings a nonjudgmental and compassionate approach to her service with her clients.

She has taught hypnosis seminars and assisted in training courses of Therapeutic Imagery at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute and has led healing groups at the Foothills Wellness Community in Pasadena, California, for many years for people with cancer and their caregivers.  She also practices hypnotherapy and other healing modalities at Passages Malibu, a world-renowned addiction treatment center.

She is currently introducing a new cutting-edge healing technique to Southern California called “The Activation” that combines some of the newest approaches for healing trauma with a state of mindful awareness.

Hello, everyone. I'm including a link below that will give you some more information about the technique. It's a YouTube video by Simon Rose, the co-founder of the technique. It is being translated into Russian, so you will need to sit through the translation. But it is only 12 minutes so hopefully it won't be too long for you. I hope you find it interesting!

Let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to answer them for you. Paula

Hello and thank you for the invitation. I doubt I can make it as that is a work night for me and the west side is quite a commute. I'll be on retreat during your workshop. But I am interested in this modality. The site listed does not work. Is there an operational site that I can go to? Thank you, E
