Biking & Picnic (Toronto Island)

PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW (bike rental, picnic, cost, meeting place)

Toronto Island is one of my favourite places, & the best way to see it is on a bicycle! You can bring your own or rent one on the island(see below). We'll also have a picnic lunch(bring your own) on the island so we can hang out & get to know each other better.

*** PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 11:15am TO JOIN THE GROUP! ***

WE CANNOT WAIT FOR PEOPLE OR WE WILL MISS THE FERRY!

SCHEDULE:

11-11:15 am ~ Meet at the Ferry Docks, call Sarah (10-11:15 am ONLY) for exact location 647-339-3449

11:15 am ~ Buy tickets & get in line for the ferry (leaves at 11:30 am)

11:45 am ~ Go to bike rental place (for anyone who doesn't own a bike)

12-2 pm ~ Biking & Picnic

2:15 pm ~ Take the ferry home (we can stay longer if people want)

COST: PLEASE BRING CASH FOR EVERYTHING!!!

---> $12.00 ($5 Meetup fee + $7 Ferry Ride) + your own bike

---> OR $12.00 ($5 Meetup fee + $7 Ferry Ride) + $16.00 for 2 hr bike rental ($4/half hour after)

PICNIC: Everyone will bring their own picnic lunch. Feel free to also bring something to share (example chips, fruit, cookies, ect). DON'T FORGET WATER & SUNSCREEN!!!

BIKE RENTALS: If you need to rent a bike, PLEASE look at the website(below) for the cost & rules. You are responsible for this yourself, but we will make time to stop at the rental place on the island as a group.
