Volunteer Walk

I have had a great response for volunteers for the Winter Solstice Lantern Festival from Meetup. Thank you everyone. Some people has emailed me and said that they would like to help out but can't on the weekdays . So I'm putting out this event for Saturday.

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to do a short walk with a little twist, that is volunteer to help make some lanterns for the Winter Solstice Secret Lantern Festival. We will start our walk from the entrance of Science World and walk over to the Round House Community Centre and then learn how to make lanterns and work with artists and help with a variety of workshop tasks. We will meet at the front entrance of Science World and walk over to the Roundhouse, which should take about a half-hour and then make some lanterns until 5:00 pm. Join me if you can. It's always a honour to give something back to the community.

If you can't make the walk or come at this time, feel free to drop in between the hours of 11:00am to 5:00pm.
